Proposed Changes for 2026
- Clarify requirements for Board Member(s) with lived experience of homelessness to include individuals who are not currently experiencing homelessness but who:
- Have lived experience within the past seven (7) years, OR
- Have lived experience beyond the last seven years and are currently involved in the homelessness services sphere.
- Clarify requirements for frequency/number of meetings required for Local Homeless Coalitions as once per quarter at a minimum.
- Add section outlining Coordinated Entry (CE) participation requirements as set forth in the CE Policies & Procedures to include:
- Utilize the CoC’s approved online CE assessment for all applicants seeking services.
- Participate in the maintenance of a By Name List (BNL) for the LHC.
- Participate in regular case conferencing for the BNL at a frequency not less than monthly agreed upon by the LHC.
- Adhere to prioritization and referral practices as set forth in the CoC’s CE Policies & Procedures.
