Loren Morphew

Homeless Programs Director

Loren specializes in community development by applying strategic engineering methods to real-world situations. She works to increase effectiveness, decrease costs, streamline processes, and reduce waste through strategic planning, evidence-based best practices and behaviors, continuous improvement, collaboration, communication, designing and implementing programs and trainings, and meeting communities and organizations where they are.

Loren was born and raised in Texas and moved to Arkadelphia to attend graduate school at the age of 21. She has a BS in Psychology from Texas A&M-Texarkana; an MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling; and an MS in Healthcare Administration. Her love for communities and the challenges they face stems from her small hometown and her paternal grandparents who taught her to “bloom where you’re planted” and “always leave a place better than how you found it”. Her greatest legacy is her daughter, Olivia, who has taught Loren to view the world from a much different perspective.
